UPDATE: Mini-Hiatus due to Orientation!

So I’m here with a probably obvious update: I haven’t been able to post much lately!

It’s been almost a week, and I can’t help it. Wednesday I spent all day traveling, and I arrived in SoCal. Ever since I’ve been caught up in  my college’s crazy orientation schedule, and I’ve only just barely now found some free time to do a little blogging!

I would’ve liked to have let you guys know sooner that I would be on hiatus, but silly little me thought that I would surely have time for blogging sometime during orientation. Hah!

Given that orientation doesn’t end until after this upcoming Monday, and that I still have to register for classes, I think it’s safe to say that I will not be able to post anything for at least that long, if not a few days longer as I settle into my new classes; I will be taking a mini-hiatus.

But don’t fret! Before I left home I managed to read Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins (which was great, by the way!), so you all can be on the lookout for an upcoming review soon.

That’s all a gear-up for Isla and the Happily Ever After, which I plan on reading next whenever I have the chance. And for the Stephanie Perkins fans out there, I highly recommend the new desktop background that Elena @ Novel Sounds created! You can find it here: http://novelsounds.net/feature/arts-crafts-isla-happily-ever-stephanie-perkins-wallpaper/

I also have some great ideas for some new non-review posts, including possibly a ‘Bookworm’s Guide to Positive Procrastination’, and a list books inspired by this summer’s top songs!

So I will be back as soon as possible, because I’ll always need a creative outlet and interaction with my fellow book lovers! I’ll still be able to answer your guys’ comments too, so I won’t have disappeared completely off the blogosphere.

So what have you guys been up to? Have you all started school, or are lamenting the approaching end of summer? What have you guys been reading?

  • I’ve started school, Lina. And it’s pretty though with blogging and reading ha but I manage. Seems like you do too, even if things are slow from time to time. That’s normal. Happy September!
