I’m sure you all already know about the awesomeness that is John Green. Author of many popular YA books, one which happens to be The Fault In Our Stars, co-creator of one of the most popular Youtube channels ever, aaaaaand his spectacularly amazing movie just came out last week (which of course I saw on opening day, and cried at least twice).
What you perhaps might not know (at least, what I didn’t know) is that he reviews books just like the rest of us in the book blogging community (speaking to my fellow book bloggers here!), except that his get published in The New York Times Book Review and Booklist. How awesome is that?! But wait for it….
He just posted a video review (of sorts) of one of the most surprising and thoughtful books I’ve had the pleasure of reading!
The book (pictured here) is Behind the Beautiful Forevers by Katherine Boo. Now, because it is an Adult Non-Fiction book, it is not something I will review here. While I may occasionally review Adult fiction, I will never review Non-Fiction.
Buuuut since we all already know and love John Green, and since I highly recommend this book, it would in your utmost interest to watch his video below. Immediately.
And who wouldn’t want to hear more words of wisdom from John Green anyway?
